Family Law: Children
We appreciate that issues involving children can be extremely stressful and difficult to resolve. We will always attempt to place the child at the centre of negotiations regarding the arrangements for their future. Whenever possible we attempt to encourage our clients to make practical proposals regarding the arrangements for children and to reach a settlement acceptable to both parties and in the best interests of the children. We firmly believe that if it is at all possible for the parties to communicate regarding the arrangements for children then this should be encouraged. We support the work of Family Mediation an Organisation which, through the services of a skilled Mediator, encourages parties to discuss the arrangements for their children and reach agreement. However we also appreciate that in certain difficult cases Court action to achieve the best for a child may be necessary.
