Family Law: Protective Orders

We appreciate that in circumstances involving violence or abuse negotiations are inappropriate and protective orders may be required from the court promptly. Such orders can involve exclusion of one party from the home; interdicts against violent behaviour with powers of arrest attached or orders preventing the removal of children. Although we understand that such circumstances can be complex where emergency orders are required and in the client’s best interests such cases will be given a priority. We are experienced in dealing with such applications and they will be treated sympathetically and seriously by us.
